Today’s show starts with a salute to an American Icon – Jimmy Buffet. We were saddened to hear of his passing, and the world will miss the joy he brought to the world.

But scattered among his memorable career is a lesson for small business owners. Jimmy Buffet knew exactly what people wanted out of him and what he was selling. You might think I’m referring to his albums and concert tickets but it goes much deeper than that. He sold a “feeling” and then he productized it.
